Mercury in the Morning, March 2013 March 28, 2013

If you want to see Mercury in the morning, now is the time. Get out half an hour before sunrise and scan the ESE horizon using binoculars. It is brightest in the last few days of March, but it’s also already heading back toward the Sun, so it’ll get harder to see as April starts.
