This is for my followers who do astronomy education. The talk title is “Results from a Study of Inquiry in Undergraduate Astronomy Laboratories”

A backward-faded scaffold is an instructional technique where students start by going through an inquiry exercise in a very structured way, including a careful evaluation of each step of the process. By the end of the class, students should be able to develop an activity on their own, given just the question to be answered.
