Dear NASA: No More Rainbow Color Scales, Please | Visual.ly Blog.

Every time I see the now classic WMAP image of the CMB, I wonder what it looks like to someone who is color blind. This blog post points out a number of other issues with using a rainbow color scale for data visualizations. Now I’m wondering what *I* can’t see in the CMB.
